Role Requirements:

• Experience with SEND: Proven experience working with secondary-age students with a range of SEND, demonstrating empathy, patience, and understanding.
• Teaching & Cover Ability: The capability to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, maintaining engagement and classroom structure.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, essential for collaborating with teaching staff, students, and families.
• Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to the unique challenges and needs of an alternative education setting.
• Professional Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent experience is preferred, with relevant qualifications in SEND or educational support.
