The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN). Duties include creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons that cater to the specific needs of each student, monitoring progress, and adapting teaching methods as required.

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role is essential.

  • Strong understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Additional certifications in special education
  • Experience with different learning styles and abilities

This is a temporary position based in Surrey, South East England. The role is part-time, with flexible hours. The salary ranges from £20 to £25 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
