The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Duties include assessing individual student needs, developing and implementing tailored learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Demonstrable experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role within the education sector.

  • Knowledge of SEN teaching methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to SEN
  • Proficiency in using technology to support learning

This is a temporary position based in Richmond, Greater London. The role is part-time, with hours expected to vary depending on student needs. The salary range is £20 - £30 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
