As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing specialised support and instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary role will involve developing tailored learning plans, delivering one-to-one or small group sessions, and monitoring progress to ensure academic and personal growth. You will work closely with students, parents, and education professionals to create a supportive learning environment that meets individual needs.

  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support academic development
  • Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor progress
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and implement individualised learning plans

A degree in Education or a related field is required. Previous experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and educational frameworks
  • Ability to assess and address individual learning needs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

This role is based in South East England, Surrey, with part-time hours. You will work closely with students, parents, and education professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
