The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the students' needs, and monitoring progress regularly. The tutor will also collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students.

  • A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles

A degree in Education or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with Special Educational Needs

  • Detailed understanding of SEN support strategies
  • Ability to assess and address individual learning needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
  • Additional qualifications in specific learning difficulties
  • Experience with assistive technology for SEN students

The SEN Tutor will primarily work in a classroom setting within an educational institution. The role may involve some travel to different locations within the South East England region. The working hours will be part-time, with flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
