Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Develop individualised educational plans based on students' needs and abilities.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Education: A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year working directly with SEN students.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and their impact on learning.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Effective classroom management techniques.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time position, working flexible hours.
  • May require travel to different locations within the Berkshire area.
  • Collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
