As an SEN Tutor based in South East England, Surrey, Guildford, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve working part-time hours on a temporary basis within the Education and Training sector.

  • Deliver one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions to students with SEN
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and development
  • Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEN education
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Additional certifications in SEN support
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Knowledge of local education policies and procedures
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in an educational setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
