We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Merton, Greater London. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing specialised educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be on delivering tailored teaching sessions that cater to the individual needs of each student, helping them to achieve their academic goals and maximise their learning potential.

  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions that accommodate different learning styles
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' educational development
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience

A relevant teaching qualification

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Proven experience working with students with SEN

  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work environment will be within an educational setting, collaborating with students, parents, and educational professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
