We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Guildford, Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting. This role is part-time and temporary, with a focus on helping students achieve their academic goals.

  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with SEN
  • Assist students in improving their academic skills and confidence
  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN regulations and best practises
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials

The SEN Tutor role is based in Guildford, Surrey, and involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work one-on-one with students in a classroom or educational setting, providing support and guidance as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
