The SEN Tutor will provide academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), tailoring lessons to individual learning requirements, and monitoring progress closely. They will create engaging and inclusive learning environments, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

A relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential. A valid DBS check is required.

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting is required.

Strong understanding of SEN principles and practises. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop individualised learning plans. Patience and empathy in working with students with diverse needs.

The SEN Tutor will work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students. This role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
