  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' specific needs
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and interventions

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Prior experience working in a similar role with SEN students

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in a school setting. The environment may vary but will require a compassionate and patient approach to meet the needs of each individual student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
