The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing individualised learning plans, implementing teaching strategies, and assessing student progress. The tutor will collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

• Relevant experience in SEN education

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience working with students with SEN is essential.

• In-depth understanding of SEN principles and practises

• Proficiency in creating and implementing individualised learning plans

• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and parents

The SEN Tutor will work in a school setting, providing support to students during school hours. The role may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate student needs and meetings with parents or school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
