  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Minimum of a relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Prior experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
  • Knowledge of SEN support techniques and resources
  • Effective classroom management skills

The role of an SEN Tutor involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in the South East England region. The work environment may vary depending on the location of tutoring sessions, which could be in schools, students' homes, or other educational settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
