  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and goals
  • Implement strategies to support students in overcoming learning challenges
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals involved in the student's education
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Understanding of different learning styles and educational needs
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies

The role of SEN Tutor is temporary and part-time, with hours varying based on student needs. Work is primarily carried out in an educational setting, such as a school or learning centre, with occasional meetings with parents or other professionals involved in the student's education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
