Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be to assist students in overcoming learning barriers and reaching their full potential.

  • Assessing students' individual needs and creating personalised learning plans
  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A degree in Education or a related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Understanding of various Special Educational Needs and appropriate teaching strategies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges

This role is part-time, with flexible hours. You may be required to work in a classroom setting or provide home-based tutoring depending on student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
