Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to support students' academic and personal development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to students' education
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and best practises

A relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to travel to students' homes or educational settings within the Croydon area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
