  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support SEN students

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEN teaching

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
  • Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia)

Part-Time hours, flexible schedule, working closely with students and other education professionals in a classroom setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
