  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Understanding of different learning styles and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Training in specific SEN interventions or therapies

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting. The work may require flexibility in terms of working hours and locations, as well as collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
