We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Merton, Greater London. This is a temporary position with expected Part-Time hours in the Education and Training industry.

  • Provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students' needs are met.
  • Experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Patience and empathy when working with students facing learning challenges.
  • A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and accommodations.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Knowledge of educational resources and tools for SEN students.
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
  • Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to support student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
