  • Provide tailored support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and personal development
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure holistic support for students
  • Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and teaching techniques

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Empathy and patience in supporting students with diverse needs
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Additional certifications in relevant areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting
  • May involve travel to different locations within South East England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
