The SEN Tutor will work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to provide tailored academic support. Duties include assessing students' learning needs, creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the Math curriculum, monitoring progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet students' requirements.

A relevant teaching qualification and experience working with students with SEN. Knowledge of the Math curriculum is essential.

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a tutor, preferably with SEN students.

Demonstrated SEN experience, strong understanding of the Math curriculum, excellent communication skills, ability to adapt teaching techniques, and a patient and empathetic approach.

Additional qualifications in Special Education or specific SEN training would be advantageous.

The role may involve some travel to different locations within the South East England region. Part-Time hours are expected, with flexibility required to accommodate students' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
