The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing individualised support and guidance to students with special educational needs. Duties include creating tailored lesson plans, implementing specialised teaching techniques, monitoring progress, and collaborating with other educators and parents to ensure the student's academic success.

- Experience working with students with special educational needs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

A degree in Education or a related field

Previous experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

- In-depth understanding of special educational needs and learning disabilities

- Proficiency in developing individualised learning plans

- Strong assessment and evaluation skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals

- Additional certifications in special education

- Experience using assistive technology in teaching

The SEN Tutor will work part-time hours in an educational setting, providing support to students with special educational needs. The role may involve some flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules and meetings with parents or colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
