SEN Tutor New

• Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one or small group setting
• Create tailored learning plans and activities to meet the specific needs of each student
• Assist students in developing academic skills, social skills, and emotional well-being
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education

• Experience working with students with SEN
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

• Understanding of SEN legislation and policies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
• Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

• The role of SEN Tutor involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis.
• The work is primarily conducted at students homes or in a public local library 
• The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
