Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy.
*Lead the development and delivery of a holistic SEN strategy.
*Coordinate support for students with SEN, including the management of teaching assistants and liaising with external agencies.
*Advise and support colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning for students with SEN.
*Ensure accurate record-keeping and monitoring of students' progress.
*Engage parents and guardians in the education of their children and the objectives of the SEN provision.

Requirements for the Role:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a robust understanding of SEN best practices and the current legislative framework.
*A postgraduate qualification in SEN (e.g., National Award for SEN Coordination) is highly desirable.
*Demonstrable experience in a SEN leadership role within a school environment, with a proven track record of enhancing student achievement.
*Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop staff.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and external agencies.
*A creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to implement effective SEN policies and initiatives.
*A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for inclusive education.
