Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide academic support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in various subjects
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their learning goals
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support students with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEND

  • Understanding of SEND Code of Practise
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Additional certification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
  • Experience in using assistive technology to support student learning
  • Work primarily one-on-one setting with students
  • Potential for occasional travel to different educational settings
  • Flexible working hours based on student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
