Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in the Dudley area. We are currently seeking a SEND TA to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this vibrant team from September 2024 on an on-going basis. The successful application will be working within a mainstream primary setting, supporting pupils across KS2. You will be working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, providing help within the classroom and outside of the classroom as and where needed. Some pupils may be working towards IEP targets or using unique time-tables to support them in accessing curriculum. Applicants should be confident in managing challenging behaviour effectively and confident in using de-escalation techniques.

What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in working with pupils of mixed ages across KS2. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
