Teaching Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Eastfield, where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who need additional support.

Position: SEND Teacher
Location: Eastfield, North Yorkshire
Hours: Full-time/Part-time options available
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

As an SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in creating and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student. Working alongside a supportive team, you will help foster a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and empowered to reach their full potential.

  • Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to suit individual learning needs
  • Tracking student progress and adjusting support strategies as needed
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals
  • Promoting confidence, independence, and social development in students
  • Creating a safe and inclusive classroom for all students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND or specialized SEN qualifications
  • Strong understanding of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and other learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to student progress
