SEND Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school based in the Smethwick area. We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this busy and supportive team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be working with pupils across KS2 to provide support on a 1:1 or small group basis, mainly providing intervention support to pupils. You will also be working with pupils inside and outside of the classroom to ensure robust support is in place, while working closely with class teachers the school SENDCo to provide feedback.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and thriving team within a supportive primary school setting. The school is located in Smethwich, within proximity to Warley and Bearwood. The expected salary range for this role is between £9.64-£15.08 per hour, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant TA qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils with SEND and providing small group intervention works.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
• Dedicated to delivering the very best to pupils through comprehensive learning support
