SEND Teaching Assistant

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in the Dudley area. We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this friendly team from September 2024 on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils across KS1, providing 1:1 support within the classroom and targeted intervention support outside of the classroom. You will also be responsible for working closely with the schools SENDCo and class teacher to provide detailed feedback, particularly for pupils awaiting diagnosis.

The school is located in the Dudley area, within proximity to Sedgley and Gornal. The expected salary range for this role is between £9.64- £15.08 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils with SEND, including pupils awaiting a specific diagnosis.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
• Dedicated to delivering the very best to pupils through comprehensive learning support
