Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving school based in the Dudley area . We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join this busy primary school setting from September 2024 on an ongoing basis. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 to provide support to pupils both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be working closely with class teachers and the school SENDCo to provide robust and effective to pupils, including pupils awaiting diagnosis and pupils working towards IEP’s.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge of how to effectively support pupils with SEND. The school is located in the Dudley area, within proximity to Russells Hall, Brierly Hill and Dixons Green. The expected salary range for this role is between £9.64- £15.08 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in supporting pupils working towards independent targets. Prior experience of supporting pupils with SEND is not essential, however applicants should be confident in developing working relationships with pupils.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Available to work on a full-time basis from Monday- Friday
  • Dedicated to delivering the very best to pupils through comprehensive learning support
