Senior Cover Supervisor

The position of Senior Cover Supervisor presents an excellent opportunity for candidates to engage with young learners. The school supports cover supervisors in their areas of passion while offering a wide range of experiences. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and the ability to acquire new skills rather than prior experience, with thorough training provided.

• Overseeing various classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Implementing the provided lesson plans
• Managing student behavior and ensuring students remain on task
• Assisting teachers in the classroom
• Delivering dynamic and engaging lessons from existing plans
• Supporting students by addressing their questions

• Providing classroom and technician support during quieter periods
• Invigilating exams
• Handling general administrative tasks
• Coordinating pre-planned cover schedules with the Senior Administrative Officer

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
