Could this be the start of something new in one of the best SEMH provisions in the South?

This position is for an English Teacher at an SEN/SEMH School in Southampton. They are looking for someone to start ASAP.

About the role:

  • Primary & Secondary (Year 3 – Year 9)
  • To start ASAP
  • 5 days a week
  • Working hours are 08:30 - 16:30
  • Outdoor Learning Centre

As class teacher your responsibilities will include:

* Maintaining the atmosphere of the class and its physical surrounding suitable to the tasks to be undertaken
* Planning lessons appropriately
* Maintaining clear records and tracking
* Maintaining good discipline
* Liaising with colleagues and parents

Essential:

* Committed individual with a deep understanding of special needs/SEMH
* Self-motivated and imaginative
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
* Flexible and positive attitude to work
* Capacity to deliver the curriculum in an artistic and creative manner
