Salary- £26,485.00 - £37,953.00 Annually (FTE)

About this Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking to employ a site manager or caretaker for a mainstream primary school in Oxted, Surrey. This role is part time, working 20 hours a week, 52 weeks per year. The working hours will be Monday – Friday 07.00-11.00.  We are ideally looking for a site manager, but are happy to consider applications from candidates with less experience for a caretaker role with the view to providing training and development opportunities to move into a site manager role in time. 

Key responsibilities include:

-Ensuring the security of the school premises, including opening up the school site and checking it is safe for staff and children.

-Managing health and safety issues, working alongside the School Business Manager.

-Managing contractors and planned works at the site.

-Managing the cleaning staff of the school.
