Location: Newport.
Full time: Monday to Friday (08:20-15:10pm)
Pay: £120 daily rate for unqualified teachers – up to £250 daily rate for fully qualified teachers.
term time only.

A thriving secondary school in the Newport area are seeking a Sociology Teacher to join their Social Sciences team from September 2024. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to teach Sociology to GCSE and A-level students.

Details of the role:

  • Monday to Friday (term time only).
  • Sociology timetable with general cover (if school requires this).
  • Qualified Teachers will be paid to scale (starting at £157.66 daily rate for NQT’s).
  • Lesson planning is highly desirable for FQT’s.
  • School open to accepting application from those who have a minimum of an A-level in Sociology.

About you:

  • Keen interest and understanding of Sociology.
  • Minimum of A-level in Sociology.
  • Passionate, driven and friendly Educator.
  • Able to commit to a full-time role (during term time).
  • Available from September 2024 – until August 2025.
