Location: Bedford

We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Bedford who are recruiting for an Spanish Teacher from September 2024.  

The role would involve teaching Spanish Teacher predominantly to Year 7 - Year 11 GCSE classes only and supporting with GCSE assessments. The right MFL Teacher should be able to teach Spanish to KS3 and KS4 and have at least 1 year experience teaching languages to this level.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be an experienced Teacher of Instructor of Spanish or Modern Foreign Languages to KS4
  • Highly knowledgeable in the language study of Spanish and the curriculum
  • Have a background of at least 1 year teaching Spanish at a Secondary School
  • Good understanding and practice of Safeguarding
  • Able to monitor and control behaviour in the classroom
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, both in the physical and digital classrooms
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of the schools

Pay

You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent (proof required for UPS).
