Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with special needs? A specialist SEN provision in Bolton is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join their team. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a nurturing environment students aged 11 to 18 who have Autism and complex learning difficulties.

With small class sizes and a personalised approach, we focus on the holistic development and educational progress of each student. You will be part of a dynamic team that includes teachers, therapists, and other professionals, all working together to ensure our students thrive.

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will play a key role in keeping students engaged and facilitating their learning experiences. You will adapt activities to ensure they are accessible to all students, helping them achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

  • Academic and Social Development: Support students with Autism and complex learning difficulties in their academic and social development.
  • Personalised Learning Plans: Assist in implementing personalised learning plans tailored to the unique needs of each student under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Daily Living and Personal Care: Provide assistance with activities of daily living and personal care as required, ensuring the well-being of each student.
  • Positive Learning Environment: Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Transform Lives: Make a real difference in the lives of students with Autism and complex learning difficulties.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing the best possible education and support.
  • Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience and skills in a specialized SEN setting.
  • Experience with Special Educational Needs in a specialist school setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from all backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
