We are partnering with an outstanding SEN primary school in Crawley and are looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and friendly individuals to join their team as Special Needs Mentors. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, SLD, PMLD, mobility challenges, and sometimes challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to pupils with a range of complex needs.
  • Assist in creating a nurturing and structured learning environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored educational and personal development programs.
  • Support pupils with physical and mobility needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
  • Experience with SEN or working with children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
