£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide specialised tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various subjects
  • Develop tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN provisions and best practises in education
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Additional training or qualifications in SEN education
  • Experience using assistive technology in teaching

This role involves working with students in a one-on-one setting, at the learners home. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
