Specialist Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our schools in Cambridge. This role would be supporting students within a sensory support department, either with primary or secondary aged students.

About the role:
- Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 15.30pm
- £12.90 - £14.00 per hour
- To start ASAP

The role will involve working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs, as well as supporting the class teacher within larger classes, to ensure that the students are comfortable, happy, and safe within their learning environment and able to access their learning effectively.

Requirements:
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, or willingness to apply for one.
- Able to work the required hours, term- time only.
- Experience working with children or individuals with additional needs.
- Positive attitude.
- Highly reliable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
