Position: Specialist Teaching Assistant.

Location: Bamber Bridge.

Start date: Monday 15th April 2024.

Working hours: Full time (Mon-Fri, 9-3).

Pay rate: £12.82 - £13.50 per hour.

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant at this provision, you will be required to support and guide pupils to recognise their potential, achieve their aspirations and receive all additional support to enable them to maximise their learning. You will be working directly with individual pupils, providing a clear and accurate assessment of their needs and liaising with teachers and parents to improve their experience in school. With a gentle, patient and passionate approach, this role will enable you to make a true positive impact on young individuals.

Role requirements:

  • Passionate about working with and supporting children with SEND needs.
  • Experience working with children/young people who have additional educational needs.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and communication skills with children is essential.
  • Resilient and able to reflect on your practice.
