SEN Teaching Assistant – Gillmoss (L11)

A position for a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) in Gillmoss (L11) is now available to support a KS2 Class Teacher. This role is ideal for candidates with the appropriate qualifications and experience.

The Head Teacher is seeking to hire a Full-Time SEN TA on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will specialize in providing 1:1 support for a KS2 child with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Your primary responsibility will be to offer dedicated support to help this child reach their full potential and engage effectively in mainstream school life.

 

SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Full-time, 5 days per week, working 1:1 with a KS2 child with MLD.
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCo and other SEN Teaching Assistants to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for the child.
  • Work closely with parents to ensure alignment between school and home.

Role Details:

  • £12.90 per hour, paid weekly.
  • Full-time hours: 8:45 AM – 3:20 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break).
  • Start date: September 2024.
  • School rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED.
