Education and Training

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering tailored learning activities for students
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assist in the management of classroom behaviour and provide guidance to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support the overall development of students
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Previous experience as a teaching assistant or working with students with special educational needs

  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support student learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Higher level teaching assistant qualification
  • First aid training
  • Work in a school setting with regular school hours
  • May require occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate meetings or events
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
