Then this role could be for you!

 

Teaching Personnel are looking for sport graduates or people from sporting backgrounds to join a specialist provision in the Hengoed, Caerphilly area. The successful candidate will support the physical and mental development of pupils, with ages ranging from 3 to 19 who have a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

The role will be full time during school hours, with successful candidates generally expected to work 8:30 – 3:30 five days a week for £12.90 per hour.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the teacher and other support staff to ensure the students are staying active inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Promote wellbeing and an active lifestyle to support the pupils with their physical and mental health. 
  • Support pupils with challenging behaviours unlock their potential and maximise their success.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and inclusivity.

 

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS.
  • EWC registered.
  • Be able to provide 2 of your most recent references.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have up to date safeguarding training. (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
