Are you passionate about sports and eager to inspire the next generation? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join a vibrant school in Southend-on-Sea starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

• Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions across a variety of age groups, from year 7 - 13.
• Plan and organize sports activities, ensuring they are safe, fun, and promote skill development.
• Support the PE department with extracurricular activities, including after-school sports clubs and competitions.
• Encourage students to participate in physical activity and support their development of teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to staff and students.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of sports equipment.

• Relevant coaching qualifications (Level 1/2 Coaching Award or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a sports coach or within a school environment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
• A passion for sports and promoting physical well-being.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
