Sports experience, Good with children

• Assist in providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) during sports activities
• Help create and implement adapted sports programmes for students with SEN
• Support the lead teacher in delivering sports lessons and ensuring all students can participate
• Monitor and supervise students during sports activities to ensure their safety and well-being
• Assist in evaluating and documenting students’ progress in sports activities

No specific educational requirements

Prior sports experience and working with children is preferred

• Strong sports background
• Ability to work effectively with children, including those with SEN
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy

Relevant sports coaching or teaching qualifications

This role involves working in an educational environment with students with SEN. The work may involve physical activity and outdoor sports activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
