Are you passionate about physical education? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Our partner secondary school in Bolton is seeking a dedicated PE Teaching Assistant to join their team.

As a PE Teaching Assistant, you will support SEN students in their physical education classes and sports activities. You will work closely with the PE department to create an inclusive and engaging environment, helping students to develop their physical skills and confidence.

  • Assist the PE teacher in delivering lessons and sports activities.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN students.
  • Encourage and motivate students to participate and excel in sports.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Support the overall physical and emotional well-being of students.
  • A strong interest in physical education.
  • Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full-time position at a secondary school in Bolton.
