Job Title: Student Learning Support Assistants for Secondary Schools

Position Overview: Are you a university student passionate about supporting the learning and development of secondary school students? Are you seeking flexible work to complement your studies? We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate university students to join us as Learning Support Assistants in secondary schools. This role involves providing invaluable support to students with diverse learning needs, offering both assistance and encouragement while earning extra income and gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with a range of learning needs in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks.

  • Support classroom activities and assist teachers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a university program.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in supporting student learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
  • Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
