About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our talent pool for schools in the Maidenhead area. As a Supply TA, you will support students across various year groups in both mainstream and SEN settings, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose work that fits your availability while gaining valuable experience in different schools and settings. Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a change or someone who is keen to start their career in education, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting learning activities
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with their social and emotional development
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor and track student progress
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for education and supporting children’s learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classrooms
  • A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
