About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our dynamic team. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of education for our students during the absence of regular teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work or those seeking to gain experience in various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, in line with the national curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs and abilities of individual students.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by absent teachers or create your own when necessary.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback where required.
  • Communicate with regular teaching staff to ensure a seamless transition for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching, preferably across multiple year groups.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in different educational settings.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one prior to starting).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
