The Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. They will need to provide general cover across various subjects, maintain classroom discipline, and ensure that the learning environment is conducive to student development.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any subject area

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Prior experience in teaching or working with students preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Additional teaching certifications or qualifications

The Supply Teacher will work in various schools within the Greater Manchester area. They may need to travel between different locations and adapt to different school settings. The role may require flexibility in terms of working hours and assignments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
